I opened my eyes...and where was I?

My final contribution to a collaboration organized by a friend. This time we have Mary and Thomasina from the Disney feature "The Three Lives of Thomasina."

I decided to draw them in my own style this time, as I was curious to see how they would appear.

I am rather impressed with Thomasina, but Mary looks slightly rigid and her smile is a bit crooked (though that may be down to me flipping the image, which shows I should probably do that anyway to see if my characters appear natural at both angles.

Now, I did promise that next week would be "There Be Monsters" work, so , as I am so excited to post this, this week you can also have a little surprise.
